I actually went and watched a couple of the matches at the world championships this year in sheffield.

ive watched quite a bit of snooker and its a great game with a lot of skill but i only play pool due to the fact i dont know many ppl with a full sized snooker table

Love it, Used to have one of those snooker tables that turned into a dining table, played it everyday, got a little tacky though so sold it, would love to get another sometime..

no snooker hall here, they do have one in newport tho..

but i always watch it on eurosport did it twice now but its so technical, give me carambole

I loved watching Ding Junhui when he won in 2005 i think it was. It was great to see snooker being player like pool. If he could see the ball it was going in and it rattled the heck out of the other standard players.

Snooker can be great but it can also be incredibly frustrating and boring, just like test cricket, when it is played in a negative way.

And I too prefer to watch and better still to play pool

I like both Snooker & Pool .. Snooker is a little harder takes alot more practice and what you may think you can do on a Pool table... It will not happen on a snooker table.. lol But i do enjoy a good game of pool and a pint at the pub.

I loves it i do. Used to play every weekend at home. Also i wejt up to shuffled a few year ago. Saw Steve davis play parrot and ebdon play... someone or other... Ronnie made an awesome break today. But that guy ain't half a c**k...

snooker takes a lot more skill than pool. thats why I prefer snooker over pool.

I'm rubbih at snooker but quite good at pool. I always liked going fir a game of snooker before having to play pool as pool seems so much easier afte playing on the larger table!

Ronnie's 147 yesterday was incredible.

I too like to play snooker and pool. One of my friends who is wealthy to say the least has a snooker room with full a full size table on the top floor of his house. Im well jealous.

yeah but not really a big contribution to the sport as he first didn't want to finish it due to not having a perfect break bonus anymore,, after the umpire said finish it for the fans he did it... rather lame.. and he is still gonna win 4 k with it for having biggest tourney break

the fact he's turning his nose up at 4k annoys me tbh. He's got a bad attitude in general, too damn cocky. I do understand its annoying that its no longer £147,000 but as they explained in the commentary, that moneys got to come from somewhere, and in this day and age its just not happening. 4k is still a fair prize anyway!
