Me and a mate decided to mix JD and wine last night...the wine tasted horrible so we thought it would help, it didn't. I saw a wine glass off in two and nearly chundered everywaaaar!

Drinking

If your after a good tasting "proper" cider, Westons Cider is the ones you want:)
They do a good vintage cider which is about 8.4% per bottle and a few of them goes down a treat;)
Also i live about 45min from there brewery...which is always good if i wanna get a job-lot!

Westons vintage is a fantastic cider and is not only 8.4% per bottle but also 8.4% per glass and 8.4% per mouthful. I wouldn't say it's the most 'proper' cider though. Not for Britain. Weston's do some scrumpies which are flat and cloudy. They are proper proper. Addlestone's do my favourite flat cloudy cider. It burns so much the next day though! If you like less aggressive tasting carbonated cider then you should give stowford press a whirl. Sure you've tried it already. I think it's weston's too. I like carbonated ciders too but tend to prefer the French ones. There is a lovely cider from Normandy called Bayeux. It's very delicate and well balanced which means it can be rewarding on the palate and nose as well as the tongue. Sadly I can't say the same for any of the British ciders I've tried so far.

Can't drink wine, love some of it but it gives me high stomach acidity :(
But more importantly, i have a International Bartending Association education (with flairing :P) used to do some crazy bar shows :) (good tips and chicks haha) but anyway, my all time fav drink would be White Russian. I mostly drink classical cocktails (the russians, Manhattan, Mojito, Margarittas, etc...) , i do like beer of course :D especially Belgium beers. So yeah :uzi:

I love white russians too. Try it with vanilla vodka extra lushness. I am also a fan of the classics. Dirty Martini, Negroni, Caipirinha etc.

Oh, and espresso Martinis. Try them with half an amaretto. Juicy Miss Lucy pretty tidy too but I'm not generally a fan of the fruity ones (lemon/lime excluded).

Yeah, Vanilla vodka gives it a nice extra twist (not classic though lol). Fruity ones i prefer to drink on hot summer days, lots of ice YumYum )) but mostly creamy ones are the best, it's like a drink & dinner all in one lol
